*Please ensure that the size of the photograph is LESS than 100kb and label it as your registered FULL NAME (as in your passport).
*Do also send us your photograph during your allocated dates only.

Senior Officials
Shortlisting for interview (on 19 & 20 Jan 2008) - To receive notice of selection by email by 15 Jan 2008
Shortlisting after interview - To receive notice of selection by email by 28 Jan 2008
Note: Senior Officials will need to complete & pass the e-module (early Feb 2008 for Senior Officials) & all other modules before being confirmed as Senior Officials for the Event.

Officials

The 2008 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix is slated to debut on 28 September 2008 on a street circuit of public roads around the Marina Bay area. Already billed by many as one of the most dramatic and atmospheric races on the calendar, the proposed 5.067km long street circuit offers multiple overtaking opportunities as well as fast and challenging turns.

Volunteers form the backbone of all major events, and the 2008 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix will be no different. Given its scale and international repute, the Event requires all its volunteers to be technically competent, responsible, effective and most importantly team players.

Calling all individuals who want to contribute to the dynamic execution of the Event – You will be just as important whether you are placed behind the scenes or in the thick of the hair-raising action.

We invite all passionate volunteers to join us in fulfilling volunteer roles as Senior Officials or Officials. Everything you need to know can be found in the following pages detailing:

We urge you to take time to read all information carefully and register as a volunteer only if you are able to fulfill all criteria. Click on our registration page to register as a volunteer and buckle up for the ride of your life!

Pre-requisites
Volunteers need to

  • be at least 18 years old and above as at 1st Jan 2008.
  • have access to the Internet and a valid email address.
  • be physically able and medically fit in order to perform his/her duties.
  • be fluent in spoken English.
  • fulfill ALL training/briefing hours.
  • be able to commit to ALL 4 days of the Event (25th – 28th Sep 2008).
  • successfully complete & pass the e-module assessment (if shortlisted). In the case of senior officials, it is required that they complete & pass all other necessary assessments.

Preference will be accorded to those with past relevant motorsports/volunteering experience. Candidates who apply for senior official positions may be called up for an interview in mid-January if shortlisted.

Organisers reserve the right to make & confirm all final appointments for the Event. Any changes to be made shall be left to the sole discretion of the Event organisers.

Note: Due to the scripting embedded in the registration form, it is highly recommended to use Internet Explorer 6 (or better) on a PC.
